One word to describe Marcene is loving. She GLOWS by showing her love and appreciation for people, and by having a desire to help anyone she comes across. Marcene freely gives to family, friends, and coworkers. She is very intentional about her interactions with others, and hopes to encourage others to grow towards their full selves.

Marcene is an amazing mother to three wonderful young adults. Together, she and her husband mentor teenagers and young adults in their communities. She is active in her church community, and provides counseling services to church members.

Professionally, Marcene is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and the Coordinator of Intervention Services for Keller ISD. In this capacity she provides counseling intervention services and programs to the district by leading a group of Intervention counselors. She coordinates parent programming, planning and implementing town halls and community forums on issues that affect families, such as substance use, sex trafficking, and mental health issues. She also a part of the support team that provides intervention services to KISD employees. Additionally, Marcene sits on several community coalitions, boards, and committees throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
